The Door Company (TDC) is a full-line garage door and gate automation service company located in Northern California, specializing in the sales, installation and servicing of commercial and residential access systems. TDC also has an array of specialty products including bug screen doors, aircraft hangar systems, loading dock equipment, operable walls, partitions, rolling grilles and fire doors. Its technicians are IDEA certified and the company has been an Accredited Door Dealer since 1997 — the first year the certification testing was available.
For over 30 years, businesses, contractors and homeowners have trusted The Door Company to provide quality service for their gate and garage door needs. They currently serve the cities of Stockton, Chico, Yuba City and Redding.
The Door Company was unhappy with the state of their marketing efforts and needed a change. They felt the future of their sales pipeline was in digital advertising and wanted a partner that had expertise in that arena, understood the power of their brand and could handle multiple locations with varying needs.
The Door Company was already an established brand in Northern California. Next Horizon took on the challenge of protecting that brand and improving its appeal across The Door Company’s multiple locations.
The quality of work that TDC delivered wasn’t reflected in their website at that time. Next Horizon built a custom website that is SEO optimized, responsive, complies with ADA Level A standards and is designed to capture lead information. Once their website was reflective of their brand, a digital marketing program needed to be implemented for each location.
Customized strategies were formed for each location, incorporating Google Ad campaigns, social campaigns, customer review management and a content strategy that was designed to build on the already-established brand. Next Horizon developed blogs, social posts and other engaging content that positioned The Door Company as the industry experts they already were.
It has been five years since The Door Company came to Next Horizon from another marketing partner. In that time, their monthly web traffic and clicks from advertising have almost doubled. Our focus on funneling prospect information led to an increase in yearly conversions ten times over. The Door Company has kept Next Horizon as agency of record and has continued as a market leader in the garage door and gate automation industry in Northern California.
